The AJYD Organising Committee is pleased to announce that Asia Society Australia has joined as a Supporter of the inaugural Australia–Japan Youth Dialogue.

Chief Executive Officer Philipp Ivanov said, “Asia Society Australia is pleased to support the inaugural Australia–Japan Youth Dialogue. Australia’s partnership with Japan is one of our most comprehensive and longest-standing relationships in Asia. To grow, it’ll require new leaders and new ideas, and this is what the Dialogue aims to foster”.

Asia Society Australia promotes greater connectivity and deeper understanding between Australia and Asia in the areas of business, policy, culture and education, and provides a high-level platform for Australian and Asian leaders and champions of engagement to connect, exchange ideas and develop meaningful relationships.

Asia Society Australia is a not-for-profit, non-governmental and non-political organisation and a part of the Asia Society - a leading global non-profit institution with 12 centres in Asia, United States and Europe dedicated to advancing deeper understanding and closer ties between Asia and the West through arts, education, policy and business.

Asia Society Australia was launched in 1997 by then Prime Minister John Howard to broaden interest and understanding in Australia of Asian countries and their politics, business and culture.
