The AJYD team is pleased to announce that the Japan Center for International Exchange will continue their support of the Australia–Japan Youth Dialogue in 2019.

Akio Okawara, JCIE's President and Chief Executive Officer, said "The Japan Center for International Exchange is proud to once again support the Australia-Japan Youth Dialogue in 2019 on the occasion of its second event in Tokyo."

"We strongly believe that a dialogue between aspiring young leaders of our two countries will help build a strong and healthy Australia-Japan relationship, which will serve as the backbone for peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region. We extend our best wishes for the success of this year's event.", Okawara-san said.

Founded in 1970 by Tadashi Yamamoto, the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE) is one of Japan’s few independent nongovernmental organisations in the field of international affairs. It operates a wide range of programs to promote dialogue and cooperation among leaders from different sectors of society in Japan and around the world.

JCIE is dedicated to promoting Japan’s engagement in the international community; encouraging thoughtful and collaborative analysis of critical issues in international affairs; strengthening civil society and enhancing its domestic and global contributions; and establishing, strengthening, and expanding networks of dialogue and cooperation.
