About Iain Johnson

Iain Johnson is a Monbukagakusho (文部科学省奨学金) researcher at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Political Science (早稲田大学大学院政治学研究科) in Tokyo. Iain's research centres around the application of Computation Social Science to contemporary Asia-Pacific regional affairs. He holds a BA in International Relations & Politics from Monash University.

Recent professional focus has been in the higher education sector at Monash University as a teaching associate, research officer, & student mentor. Currently serving as Southeast Asia regional correspondent for a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation news organisation.
